In my story I gave Liliana Grace a husband, is that okay?
I have to admit while I am extremely happy for Liliana I am so going to miss her. Let me explain, three years ago young Sophia decided she wanted to try ballet, so Liliana started taking her to a ballet studio to be taught. Since the class was only an hour long and the drive home took a half an hour, Liliana would take her books and study while she'd wait. An year later Sophia was still going and Liliana was still staying to study, that was when a new little girl joined the class, Danielle. Danielle and Sophia connected instantly and not too long after that Sophia begged Liliana to let Danielle come over and spend the night. Liliana agreed, so the next time they went to class Sophia invited Danielle over. Danielle really wanted to come but said she couldn't without asking her father. So Liliana, Sophia and Danielle waited for a little under an hour for her father to arrive. Liliana had worked herself into a fit of righteous anger over him leaving his daughter alone for so long when a dark haired still dressed in a fireman's uniform hurried in. Alexander Sinclair had been profusely glad that Danielle hadn't been alone while she waited and thanked Liliana multiple times. When Sophia told him that Danielle was going to spend the night at her night Alex had laughingly given in. One thing followed another and soon Alex and Liliana where seeing each other often. Then shortly after Liliana graduated with her degree she started seriously dating him and now two and a half years after meeting him they got married. That of course signaled Liliana and Sophia's departure from our home. I miss them sorely but fortunately they didn't move far away.
As for Derek, he started going to college, and is right now an undeclared major but is getting in the basic courses that every degree requires. Both Derek and Che are still infatuated with Rose, though Derek hids it way better then Che. Rose still comes home and takes care of Che, and plays with him, and though Derek has never actted like he likes Rose more then as a sister there is something about the way he looks at her, especially when she is with Che that makes me think that maybe some day.... but then I am a bit of a matchmaker.
Though I hurt deeply for Julia for being so concerned about being hurt again I am not really worried, our family though odd and sometimes disfunctional, grows on a person. Though she is a bit stand-offish now I know that soon she'll be drawn into the craziness along with the rest of us and realize that we don't care about what has happened before and accept that people make mistakes. I think more then anything the fact that Liliana (who visits often) and Derek fit in so well dispite the fact that they came from bad situations too will help.
