Do you like it? And if anyone knows how it's pronounced, that would be greatly appreciated because I don't know if it's like Muh-lee-uh or Mellia...Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!!!

I'd assume it sounds like the end of Amelia, so MEEL-ya or MEEL-ee-ah. Makes me think of meely-mouthed. :-/

Just musing...I like Malia only as a nn for Mahalia, but I like Melia just fine as a full name. Weird, aren't I? :oP

Not at all, Cam. It makes sense to me. I tend to be inconsistant too; I see Beth as a strong enough name to stand alone, whereas I can't get used to Josh by itself. LOL. It all depends on the scenario. :DWhere the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!!!

That's pretty. But I would assume with that pronunciation it would be Malia or Mahlia.

It's the short form of Amelia, so says the database, so I'd guess it'd be pronounced "MEE-lee-uh". It's nice, but nms.ETA- Melia.
