Magnolia has been growing on me lately, too. I've liked it for a while, as a guilty pleasure, but I like it more and more as a possible real name now. We recently had G/G/B triplets in our NICU named Magnolia "Maggie", Millicent "Millie", and Maddox. That's probably when I started thinking about it more. :b Also Nola would be a sweet nn (Array has mentioned this before, and I like it, too).

I love Magnolia, but Maggie ruins it for me. My nickname of choice for it is the classy, smart Nola.
Neither Magnolia Juliet nor Magnolia Loreen do anything for me, but they both have a nice flow.

"Yes," said Laura.

Magnolia: love it
I like it. Very pretty!
I like the magnolia tree, I think its flowers smell the best of all, but I can't say I like ht ename. Very out of date and also very "froufrou" and overly well, flowery. :)
If I really wanted to use it, I'd just use it for a middle name.

What, do you read my mind? This has been on my brain since this morning! I'm adoring it!
Maggie is one of my least favorite nns of all time, sorry... I don't think Magnolia needs a nn, it's gorgeous as is, but other suggestions would be Nola or Lia, wdyt?
Magnolia Juliet is beautiful, you probably expected that from me :) Magnolia Loreen after your grandmother would probably be my favorite, though, for a few reasons.
1. It flows well.
2. It's the first Loreen combo where Loreen actually looks pretty.
3. It flows a hundred times better than Juliet Loreen.
4. It leaves room for a new Juliet combo :)

I like Maggie, because I know a little girl named Margaret "Maggie" who's the sweetest thing ever. So I have a good connection with Maggie. Tho I do think Nola is rather brilliant and Lia is very sweet.
I do feel Magnolia Loreen looks, sounds, and feels better that Juliet Loreen. And I do very much like the idea of Magnolia and Juliet as sisters :) Thanks a million!

I like it. My grandmother has a Magnolia tree in her yard and for as long as I can remember, when the tree was in bloom she would let me pick one to take home. I just loved the smell of them. So the name has good associations with me. I like Magnolia Loreen best; also if you want to stick with a Louisiana-French taste, I kinda like Magnolia Lisette. WDYT?

I just really dislike "Maggie" because it makes me think "maggot." It's just not my style. Magnolia...well, the "gn" together throws me off a bit - but I really love how it sounds, just not how it looks. Magnolia Juliet is beautiful. Loreen is nms.
