Tarje, Terje or TarjeiI think Tarje (Terje/Tarjei) has something to do with Tor, the god of thunder in Norse mythology. Probably "Tor's spear".Tarjei Vesaas was a famous Norwegian author: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarjei_Vesaas"You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams."
