1. I say: "This is my son Teddy and, no, it's not a nickname."

You think: It's honestly not that weird. I've known a girl named this before.

You say: Pretty name you have.
You think: Yuck.
3. I say: "These are my twin sons, Nathan and Nahtan."
You say: That should be the start of a special bond.
You think: ...between Nahtan and people who think his name is a typo.

You say: Hi, Emily.
You think: I don't like your name. But at least it's normal.
5. I say: "I'm thinking about naming my daughter Clarabelle Gracelyn Matilde. What do you think?"
You say: Have you considered something like Clara Matilde?
You think: That.
6. I say: "Hi, I hate my name - it's Angel."
You say: Oh, don't hate it.
You think: Good. I hate it too.
