Help[Opinions] Ariana/Arianna
I'm wondering what people think of this name. I love it because I'm a singer and it contains the word "aria", combined with one of my faves, Anna. But...I also always see the word "arian," which makes me think of the holocaust. Two totally different connotations!

I love Ariane, which I think is absolutely gorgeous. I don't really like Ariana and Arianna, simply because I don't like Anna at all. I also really like the name Aria.
I think that as long as you stay away from the spelling Aryana/Aryanna, you won't have to worry about "aryan" connotations.

I like the name Ariana, spelled that way. I also love Aria, Aurora, Aurelia...names along those lines. I would never have thought of the holocaust thing if you hadn't brought it up. Overall, great name!

I love the name. It is my daughters name. I am always getting complements on her name. No one has ever mentioned "arian" except my DH.
