Hi.
I think it is because of my handle name. I am a male Japanese.
One of the most famous "mishiki" is me, because I did some commercial illustration works. In my Chinese characters, "mishiki" literally means "not awakened yet".

But, there are people who really named "Mishiki" in Japan.
A few years ago, A boy mailed me that his first name is the same as my handle name.
