Ohh, I love Hubert. It has SUCH a wonderful meaning.It does feel very medieval, and very European. I think naming a baby Hubert in North America would be looked upon as child abuse or something, people would not be able to handle it. But I adore it.

Ooo yes that goes on my 'favorite name meanings' list :oI find it much more tolerable in French. Unfortunately in English it has a bumbling, oafish quality.
