[Opinions] Swiss cow names
So apparently the most popular names for cows in Switzerland are Bella and Luna. What do you think of these names? Do they suit cows? If you had to name a cow what would you name her?

Well, they are definitely pet-like names, and very popular in the US for both cats and dogs.
If I had to name a cow I'd probably name her Marge or Clarabelle or else something silly like Jamocha or Dairy Queen.

That’s funny, I have heard that people think of Bella and Luna as dog names. I would name her Bessie if a female and Cobradiezmos if a male.
Cows are majestic and deserve weightier names. I'd totally call a cow Gudrun.
I have come across twin goats named Stella and Luna. I thought those seemed cliche (so I guess Bella and Luna suit livestock as well as anything?). We renamed them Journey and Jubilee when the farm I was working for bought them.
The policy where I worked was to name all the animals born in a particular year things that began with the same letter, and usually they were named after words or fictional characters. A random name that came to mind for a cow just now is Periwinkle.

I think both sound beautiful, but it sounds weird to me since they’re just the Italian words for beautiful and moon.
Well my name is Bella and cows where my favourite animal as a little girl, so I’m happy to share :)
I was expecting more old fashioned names like Berthe and Olga

Galatea (milk), Tyro (cheese), Buttercup, Zubaida (cream)
how can I know if their names suit them if I have never seen them and don't know their personalities.
Luna and Bella are both okay names. if I had a cow I would give her a Slavic/Yiddish name like Romashka (chamomile), Zlata, Cwetla, Mirka, Svetka, Slavica, Zissel, Mirke
