I like nicknames such as Andy / Andie, Beck, Bobby / Bobbie, and Danny / Danni for girls. In my opinion, most all surname names work well for any gender, but I tend to prefer Cameron, Devin / Devon / Devyn, Emerson, Murphy (you know, Interstellar), Parker, Quinn, and Remington as girls names. Then some miscellaneous ones: I knew a woman named Elisha, and I now would rather have it as a girls name. I have always quite liked the name Micah for girls. Then Austin, Conner / Connor / Konnor, Jaden / Jayden, and Jannick / Yannick are okay as names for boys, but I prefer them for girls. There are many other traditionally masculine names that I like as and think work well as girls names, but that I do not prefer as a girls name or even have a strong preference either way.
I like (and prefer) Esme for girls. I also consider Billie to be feminine. A lot of surname names and other more unconventional names like River, Sage, etc. seem somewhat genderless to me.
Evelyn, Robin and Terry / TeriI grew up with lots of male Ashley's (most of them went by Ash) and I hated the fact on AmericanTV shows it was for girls when I knew so many cute boys and older men with it. I'm now open to it on girls.
I love Evelyn on both boys and girls. It’s seldom used on boys anymore though.
On Castle, Alexis told her dad that she had a "friend" named Ashley over. Ashley turned out to be a boyfriend.
I don't actually see this often in the real world, but I like Ezra, Elijah and Isaiah more as girl names. I can appreciate some male names that normally feel quite boring more on girls. Jordan is for sure one of them. Also a lot of old-school classics like Billie, Bobbie, Tommie, stuff like that.
The only ones I can think of now:Hadley
Sydney
Jordan
Morgan, Lauren, and maybe Harper, but it's not my fav in general
As only feminine names, none, I think. But I like these on both genders:Kendall, Rory, Windsor, Bellamy, Rowan, Hadley, Fortune, Remi, Darian, Emery, Rain, Blake, Aster, Shannon, Blair, Ellis, Quinn, Meredith, Robin, Arden.
Blake, definitely. On girls it's badass but on guys it makes me cringe. Also Rory, as a nickname.I don't know if Auden and Hartley were ever popular enough to be described as "traditionally masculine".
