[Opinions] Tessie or Tessa?
Which name is better: Tessie or Tessa?
Tessie reminds me of the main character from the short story The Lottery
Tessa feels more mature than Tessie but idk
What do y'all think?

Tessa for sure.
Tessa definitely as Tessie sounds more like a child’s nickname where as Tessa can be a full name. If I was looking for a nickname for Teresa or Theresa though then my favourite is Tressa.
Tessa. It sounds more complete as a name. Tessie seems like a nickname for Tessa or Theresa.
Both are super cute. What about Tessa “Tessie”?
Tessa, no contest.
TessaBut I would prefer Teresa, Tess, or even Reesa first
Tessa NN Tessie. It's a beautiful name. :)

I love Tessie as a nickname. While Tessa's also a nickname, it's more usable to me as a full name.
I like Tessie's sound, it's cute, but Tessa is better as both a first name and a nickname for Teresa. Tess can also work as a given name.
Tessa is a full name in its own right. (OK, it can also be a nn for Theresa.) Tessie is the nn form. So, name your child Tessa (I'd love to do that, but not enough daughters in my life) and use Tessie as a friendly nn. Two for the price of one!
