1) Veronica Porter-Clarens (Her friends call her Nikki) - A hotshot lawyer whose quick talking wit landed her in big trouble.
2) Bronwyn James - A burnt-out English teacher who just wishes she could stop being dragged into amateur theatre
3) Esmee Zukowska - A semi-professional chorus girl with an inferiority complex.
4) Jonathan "Cherry Fizz" Creasy - A drag queen who owns a successful restaurant (as in, his regular male name, not his drag name)
5) Daniel *Dan* Kishlansky - A failed-actor-turned-accountant who, upon leaving the theatre scene, realized he wasn't quite as attractive to women (or to casting agents) when he wasn't the only man in the room
6) Jessica *Jess* Bradley - A drama teacher at a school who still hasn't grasped the fact that she's not sixteen anymore
