Neva Mindy (joke, but also an option if you're a Nirvana fan)
Sometimes people end up "living the name" so, personally, I would be wary of combining "never" with some words.

I've been thinking about that myself, just struggling with how to spell it tbh. But at the same time it's a name for a kitten so maybe it's not super important

I grew up with a Neva and it wa pronounced that way. I've heard the name a few times, and considered it, and it's always been pronounced NEEV-a
Someone suggested Nieva, I thought that was a nice alternative to Neva.
