It's a pretty name, but I think I like Yasmine or Yasmeen better.
Jasmine feels a little dated or tired because of the Disney movie, kind of from the same time period as Jada / Jaden / Jalen (to me, at least).
Most Jasmines go by Jaz, Jazz, Jazzy, Jazzi
You could also try Mina, Mini, Jini or Jinny (like genie or Ginny), Jasmi, Mimi, Nini, Ja, Jin
Jasmine Danaë
Jasmine Desiree
Jasmine Lorelei
Jasmine Noelani
Jasmine Pallavi
Jasmine Lilavati
Jasmine Valeria

It feels tacky, and makes me think of the Disney princess. But I like the idea of Jasmine "Mina", and the French pronunciation zhas-meen. I went to school with a Jaśmina (ya-SHMEE-na) - the Polish equivalent of Jasmine - and thought it was stunning.

I love Jasmine. It's so warmly, richly beautiful, and definitely underrated, by myself as well.
I really enjoy it as a middle name.

Jasmine flowers are so pretty. I also love the nickname Jazz or Jazzy. Minnie could be a cute alternative, too!
There's also the positive association with Princess Jasmine from Aladdin.

I prefer Yasmin (yahs-MEEN), though Jasmine is nice too!
If I had a kid named Yasmin, I'd use nicknames Yaska, Yasya, Mina, Yasa, Yasha (diminutive of Yakov, but it works with Yasmin also), Yanusya, etc.
For Jasmine, I don't know. The j sound (dzh) doesn't really go with stuff well in my langauge. Mina would still work, and maybe Jasa (or Jaza, Jazka, because the s in the name is pronounced like z). My brain also likes Janya for some reason.

I hate it, sorry. I find it tawdry and tired; the "jaz" sound especially irks me. Jessamine is much lovelier.

I'm with you in disliking Jasmine; Jasmine Jocasta is a masterpiece. Do you know an elderly pop song called Jesamine (that spelling, but don't hold it against them) by a band called The Casuals? Surprisingly good.
I like it a lot; it's a shame it's been used so often for pets, but it doesn't give me pet vibes as much as say, Bella or Daisy do. I think I'd be more likely to use it for a middle name.
I don't think I'd go out of my way to use a nn for Jasmine; Jazz or Jazzy might come naturally at least at times, but jasmine's so pretty and simple enough that it doesn't need a special nn.
