I have met a man named Aubrey. He was in his late 20s, so he was born before it really blew up for girls. When first introduced, I met him with his girlfriend, who goes by a unisex name, so it took a minute to realize who was who.

Audrey has been used a lot longer for girls. I think people are less likely to assume an Aubrey is a girl than Audrey if the person was born before 2000.
