It's a name I used to like, but then I thought about it too hard.
There are so many reasons not to like it. It's oddly difficult for such a simple name!
However, I think if I met a likeable gal named Ivy, I would appreciate it and kinda like it. So I condone your liking it, even though I don't like it.
(If I didn't like her, though, I'd especially hate the name on her.)
Ivy is a little better than Hazel and about as good as Willow, IMO.
ETA: I think Ivy is currently trendy, and trends roughly with Hazel and Willow and Violet. Not a flash in the pan. But I think it'll peak slowly, and be going out of style in the 30s, slowly.
