In my mind, these are three sets of cousins, so you'd have at least three kids. Roman, Giovanni and Nikolai are siblings, Josephine and Vera are siblings and Zipporah and Rudyard are siblings.

The current running theory is 2 intentionally, then a 3rd "whoops" baby around when the youngest starts school. Either G / B / G or B / G / G.
