[Test] The option of making viewable notes for user-submitted names
The notes is a great reference spot for further name research and also for learning how to use the refernce spot by looking at an existing example of how the reference spot should look like.

Agree. It would be interesting to know the sources that the editors relied on when making some questionable decisions.

It’s meant for editors to be able to see the research an individual has put into a name. There also isn’t really a ‘one size fits all’ reference to what it “should” look like.
Basically, when you submit a name you add any links you have that give facts about the name. You may also submit citations from books and other references.

They aren’t consistent. That’s my point. It’s everything from Social media sites to scholarly websites to books. It would take days and days and days to tell you everything people reference.
