River feels masculine to me, Rain feels feminine. They seem a bit try-hard.
I like River for a boy but I wouldn’t use it because my cousin has a daughter with that name. I like Rain as a middle name for both genders, but as a first name it sounds more feminine.
I like them both. River seems unisex but leaning slightly toward masculine, and Rain seems more feminine bc of Raine but still unisex.
They make me roll my eyes, to be honest. I also know of multiple babies named Rio/River.
I dislike them both about equally.
I really like both names. I see River as masculine and Rain as feminine.
Why? They are just words.
Yes I understand they are just words, but River seems stronger and more masculine to me and Rain seems softer and more feminine to me. Just the way my brain processes the words.
I like them both, although I prefer the spelling "Raine" over "Rain". They're both unisex to me, maybe leaning more towards feminine
I've heard that 'River' is generally considered masculine, while 'Rain' is seen as feminine. Personally, I think 'River' is definitely masculine, and 'Rain' feels more unisex.Anyway, I find them a bit boring 🥱
Don't like either
