[Opinions] Vivian, Sabrina, Claudia, Olivia
Okay, I feel so annoying making another post lol. But I asked about Claudia & Olivia in my last post and someone commented Vivian. I've never given this name much thought but I think it's pretty. I was also thinking of Sabrina but am worried it's too 90s. What do you think of these names? Also, how would you rank the 4 names? Thank you.

I love all 4 names, to be honest. They're all to my tastes, which have generally favored royal and ancient-sounding (especially when I first became a "name nerd").
Sabrina is probably my #1 favorite name, and the first one I would propose for a daughter of my own. I used to have Sabrina Vivian as a stock combo, but eventually decided that was a little "much" and settled on Sabrina Lily. While I still enjoy Vivian as either a middle or first name, in the first name slot I prefer the spelling Vivienne. (A friend from high school named her daughter this, though, so I feel like that's kind of off-limits for me, especially since I see their FB posts.)
Olivia is a beautiful name, but it seems like every other mother in my generation has agreed and chosen it for their daughter, because I see little Olivias running around all the time now! So I can't use it, at least not as a first name.
Claudia is the least common (among children) of the four, I think - and I would venture she'd be the most original choice for a daughter today. Claudia is a very strong name (basically the opposite of the etymological meaning) and doesn't fade into the background.
My ranking (I guess):
Sabrina
Claudia
Olivia
Vivian

Olivia-I like it, but I prefer Livia
Vivian-Nice
Sabrina-I would never pick it, but I would be happy to meet a kid with this name
Claudia-It has never been a favorite, but I get the appeal

They’re all similarly great, I wouldn’t be able to rank them.
One of my favorite names ever is Sabina.

I like Olivia but it's been so overused that I wouldn't use or recommend it, even though it's a family name.
Vivian always seems masculine to me. As a female name, I love Vivien, but only with that spelling.
Sabrina for some reason makes me think of shampoo advertisements. Soft and fluffy and unconvincing, with an aggressively floral smell.
Claudia is quite nice; I prefer Claudine with the French pronunciation.

Vivian was my grandmother's name, so I hold the name Vivian very close to heart! I often pondered about naming a future daughter as Vivian, but my brother wants to...so I'll let him take it if he wants, lol. Also, I have always LOVED the names Sabrina and Claudia; this post is menacing for me, because how do you expect me to choose favorites?! (I am being playful with the "anger," lol) I have a cousin named Olivia, and I've also enjoyed that name for a long while, but it's super common nowadays.
My ranking list:
Vivian
Sabrina
Claudia
Olivia
And if you'll allow me to bend the rules (lol), Vivian, Sabrina, and Claudia are all tied in the #1 rank.

Claudia- I used to dismiss this as a clunky clodpoll of a name, but, while it is clunky, it also has a funky charm. It makes me think of wedge shoes, velvet smoking jackets, and mid-century modern furniture.
Olivia- Tired. It had a nice run as #1, but it is time for it to have a nice rest before coming back refreshed.
Sabrina - lovely. It may be a little too associated with the teen witch and chilling adventures.
Vivian - pretty, vivacious, and I like that this spelling is more succinct than Vivienne, which feels unnecessarily extended.

Order of preference
1 Sabrina - beautiful
2 Olivia - pretty
3 Vivian - retro
4 Claudia - clunky

If anything, I think Claudia sounds more 90's if not 80's. Sabrina and Olivia still sound fresh. Vivian sounds the second oldest to me. Preference ranking:

I love Sabrina!!
