Electra as the legal name, and Ellie as a nickname. I love the name Electra, it's an interesting choice and it's definitely not too common. The name Ellie would be cute while she's a kid, but eventually it'd just give an immature feel in my opinion.
Wow i just read the other comments and I'm surprised people don't like the name Electra. My cousin's name is Elettra (Italian version of Electra) and I always thought she had a cool name.

I think Electra's a pretty cool name. My first association with it was a teen character on a show (set in the real world) from when I was a kid, so it weirdly feels normal-ish in my head. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Ellie as a nn. I've known so many, and I'm not a huge fan of very common nns that mask more interesting full names. However, it is a good option if she does want a more popular name to go by.
Electra is so aggressive, so flashy and so out-there I can't see it as a name for a real person. It's just too plasticky.
The kind of person who would really name a daughter Electra wouldn't call her Ellie; Ellie is a dime a dozen now, just about the opposite of Electra.

I really like the nickname Ellie, but not for Electra. I would prefer Eleanor, Elena, or Elizabeth with the nickname Ellie.
I would scream with delight if I met an Ellie whose full name was Electra!
Electra is a great name. Ellie is childish.
Ellie is meek and weak and dull. Electra should be electrifying, but also has echoes of elections, and as a mythological/literary character, she is hardly a role model. Neither would be to my taste at all.
Don't like it at all
I love it. Always thought Electra was such a badass name.
I agree!
