[Opinions] Varyanna
I came across a name the other day that is spelled the way it sounds rather than with the original spelling. Vary I assume is a phonetic version of the Gaelic name Mhairi. What do you think of Varyanna and would you spell it Vary or Mhairi?

It looks like something a Targaryen should be named!
I don't hate it, it's got a nice sound. The Mhairi spelling would be beyond my abilities, but I do love how it looks.
I might spell it like Variana rather than Varyanna? I dunno, Varyanna is kinda growing on me!

It makes me think of Vienna sausage, only someone tried to make it "modern fancy" but instead just makes it look too busy & garish.
Don't like vary, Mhairi ok if you are in Scotland or have Scottish background
Don't like it, Mhairi is ok if you are in the country
I don’t like Vary since it’s a real word that isn’t pronounced like Mhairi. It would’ve been better as Varianna “Vari”.
This name sounds perfect for a character in The Lord of the Rings. I like it! However, I'd spell the name on its own as Mhairi.
I'd far prefer Mhairi-Anna. Varyanna looks improbable, makes me think: Very Anna but not Very Sarah.
I like Mhairi and I think Varyanna is okay.
