It's ugly, and almost a cliche name for a scary Viking woman with horns on her hat.

I've long loved Helga. It's gentle and earthy, and I think of Andrew Wyeth's evocative Helga paintings.

It's nice, but I prefer Olga - it seems more welcoming and versatile.

Quite nice, as Scandinavian names go. Since I'm not Scandinavian, I'd never use it, but perhaps on a large Norwegian cat?

I prefer it to Olga, Not one I would use unless it was a family name and I used it as a middle name but I would only do that if they sounded decent together
