[Opinions] Erwin
I just spotted this name on a youngster, maybe about 5 years old, on a social media account. The account is kind of quirky so maybe that is giving the name a bit more personality, but still, I decided I loved seeing Erwin on a kid. The spelling is a bit different for me - if I heard this name I think I'd instinctively write it as "Irwin". But upon further reflection I think the Erwin spelling is better, it feels a bit more useable in today's world, maybe because it's so similar to Edwin. What do you think of Erwin?

I much prefer the name Irvin, but I think that Erwin is such a charming, handsome name! It's going on my pnl.
I kind of enjoy seeing nerdy old man names on a little kid. I agree that Erwin is a tad better than Irwin.
I really like it! It's fun and eccentric.
Sounds a bit hesitant. I wouldn't flee, screaming, if I met one, but nor would I ever consider using it.
I don't really care for it.
Unless it's pronounced EHR-win and not UR-win - like Eric.
I like the spelling Irwin for UR-win, a whole lot more. It looks smarter and seems more manly to me.
Erwin seems dorky and annoying to me, for no reason I can name.
Ervin would be much more appealing to me.
My friend named her son Erwin (now 20), but I’m afraid I (still) don’t like it. It reminds me of earworms (as in worms in your ear, and not the musical earworm)
Irwin feels wormy to me for sure. Erwin slightly less so!
It's very charming and definitely a you name. :)
