[Opinions] Underrated names
Are there names you think are underrated?

Lavender - I'm surprised this one never made it to the top 1000. It rolls off the tongue nicely & fits with other popular nature names such as Heather, Amber, Violet, etc.
Magdalena, Magdalene etc. - It's classic, has a lot of possible nicknames, yet it is not and never was very common in the US.
Vitus - a Saint name that has many forms in various European languages that are popular, but in English, it's almost unused.
Then, there are names that *are* quite popular with parents, but don't get much appreciation from other BtN members, IMO:
Atlas, Brooks, Brooklyn, West, Harper, Paisley, Journey, Legend (this one is a GP).

Sapphira. I’m surprised it never has been in the top 1000. It’s from the Bible so it has a history to it.
Pretty name so is Jezebel. Maybe somebody who isn't religious would pick the names but when they don't have the best stories it makes it hard to want to name your kid after then.
Yes, tons of them. I have two definitions of underrated:
Names that have never been in the US top 1000: Ajax, Andromeda, Annabeth, Bellatrix, Emeric, Estera, Lunaria, Phaedra, Saskia, Sephora, Xanthe, Xerxes, Zenaida
Names that are no longer in the US top 1000: Calista, Carissa, Casimir, Casper, Charlene, Clarence, Isadore, Jada, Jillian, Jodi, Felicia, Francine, Linnea, Marissa, Rhianna/Rianna, Roxy/Roxana, Sophronia, Twila/Twyla, Zada, Zenobia

Katrina. I’ve loved this name since I was a kid. I hate how it became associated with the hurricane.
