[Opinions] Jacobina
I have an ancestor named Jacobina (pronounces Yacobina). I wouldn't mind using it but I am only 1 person. There are a few issues with it like to spell it how it sounds or to spell it the way it was which I honestly don't even 100 percent know. I thought it was Jacobine because norwegian the e would sound like an a but I saw a newspaper clipping with it spelled Jacobina. I know those aren't always correct either. If I was really going to use it I would probably find out which way it was. I think in America it would get pronounced like Jacob bean a which isn't nearly as pretty as Yacobina to my ears. I think Bina would be a cute nickname I don't even mind Beans and I have more reasons why I like the name but I don't need to go into all the details.
I'm curious what middle name you think would sound good with it?
