[Opinions] Re: Susan and Suze

Growing up, I associated the name Susan with the name Nancy - a baby boomer name, with its first letter repeated internally. Between the two, I found Susan to be much prettier, but still of a similar moment. It's hard for me to see the name used - as a first name, at least - on someone under the age of 45-50 years.
I don't hate it. I kind of like it. But I just think its so associated with a certain demographic and would look odd outside that context.
Susanna / Susannah is simultaneously better, and also infinitely more dated. To my mind, Susan is a 60-70 year old woman; Susanna is a character in the Salem witch trials more than 300 years ago.
Suze is fine as nickname. Sue is very much of the boomer variety.
