[Opinions] Re: Old hollywood

A lot of the popular and trendy names from the last 20 years are actually very Old Hollywood inspired (my personal theory)!
Ava
Vivian (also Vivienne by extension)
Olivia
Eleanor
Evelyn
Elizabeth
Grace
Audrey
Lillian
Katharine
Harlow
Taylor
Monroe
Lauren
Sophia
James
Jack
Oliver
Spencer
Cooper
Flynn
Hudson
Parker (m & f)
Quinn (m & f)
Holden
Harrison
I think though that these names have become SO trendy that they no longer evoke that golden age glam anymore, so for me, the crunchy, uncool first names of the stars are what really sound Old Hollywood:
Claudette
Jeanne
Bette
Joan
Yvonne
Marilyn
Greer
Hedy
Marlene
Greta
Deanna
Ingrid
Lucille
Norma
Rita
Laurence
Clark
Humphrey
Cary
Burt
Richard
Errol

I’m surprised Cary and Clark aren’t more popular. They feel like the sort of fit with the current trendy vibes.
Personally, I’m a fan of the crunchy names - especially Ingrid, Rita and Burt.

I think Clark is rising in popularity, but Cary will never happen because it seems too much like a girl name.
