My taste in feminine names are much more diverse and I tend to not mind more original or unusual names. But I am very picky for male names.

I like more older boys names like Paul, Martin, Sebastian and Joe or Basque names like Luken, Julen, Iban and Iker

Whereas in girls names I like more Italian names and Spanish names like Chiara, Julieta, Eleonora, María, Marina

Boys: Biblical or Celtic (Welsh, Scottish, Irish)
Girls: German, Ancient Greek, Mythological

There are a lot I like but for ones I would actually use.

Boys: Mostly classics, and some 80/90s names. Nothing else
Girls: Mostly classics, a few 80s/90s and one more modern name

Modern + uncommon but not unheard of.

For some unknown reason, my brain is laser focused on "style". As a result, I like the names of both genders to complement each other. All of the names must "sound" and "look" like a cohesive sibling group, one that seems like they belong together and that the same set of parents named all of the children.

For boys, I've noticed that I like softer names, and names that aren't as popular now as they used to be (Caleb, Gabriel, Reuben, Neal, Elliot). For girls, it's hard to definitively say what I like, but I usually like short and sweet names, and most of my names have been on more or less a downward slope in popularity since the 1920s. I also like names that are unusual, but well established. And I'm not good at describing them, apparently. A few examples are: Cassia, Delta, Linnea, Marie, Millicent.

They are broadly similar, but my taste for boy names is more modern, while my taste for girl names is more 1980s to 2000s.

Classic for both

I'll say my boy name side is more classic Hebrew (Arieh, Shaul, Ze'ev, Ira, Ezra are some favorites) while my feminine side is more modern and italian, due to those names being in my family for the past ~100 years (Dora, Hilda, Viola, Vered)

For girls I tend to like classical with a sprinkling in of mythology. For boys it's a mix of classic with a touch of trendy or names from other countries not used in the US.

Classic all the way, for both. From Alice and Adrian to Tessa and Thomas.
