1. Mary, Marie is my middle name, and I’ve never been a huge fan
2. Helen, by a thousand miles. Ellen is fine, but seems to be lacking something
3. Lillian, but I’d be fine with either
4. Hazel, Mabel is nice but a little old sounding to me
5. Audrey, I can only picture the Wizard of Oz for Dorothy
6. Gladys, I don’t like either, but Gertrude is one of my least favorite names
7. Edith, for sure, but both are nice
8. Lucille, I knew an Estella who I really disliked
9. Frances, both are fine
