Gemma feels very British to me; I've never heard it used here (in Canada). It's Emma-like, but more brassy in a dated 80s or early 90s way - probably because of that Jem cartoon I grew up watching!I like Gemma. It's quirky-cute in the same way something like Daisy, Poppy, or Sukie is; it's fun, it's a little hard to take it seriously but that is part of the charm. Gemma Rose is pretty if boring, but that happens so often when Rose is in the middle.
