I've liked Veda for a long time. I remember reading the Hindu texts or Vedas in my comparative religion class and like a name nerd I thought "wouldn't Veda be a cool name for a girl?"

I'm also happy to hear that the parents are pronouncing it correctly. Some people say "VEE" instead of "VAY" and it drives me crazy.
