[Opinions] Cynthia or Lucinda?

Replies

Lucinda with the nickname Lucy
Lucinda
Cynthia, although I do dislike the nickname Cindy.Lucinda is ok, I don't really have a strong opinion on it.
Cynthia, definitely. It has a nice sound to it and contains that beautiful -ia ending that I love with so many other names.
I've never cared much for Lucinda. It sounds clunky and gives off gaudy images.
This is a hard choice, because I love them both; I'd probably choose Cynthia. I think that I'd prefer Cindy as a name on its own, however.
Lucinda
Lucinda! What a fun name.
I prefer Lucinda but also admire Cynthia's longevity.
Definitely Lucinda, because I'd use Lucy as a nn. In fact, I'd simply use Lucy. Cindy is cutesy, which is why I chose it for a Siamese kitten who was very beautiful indeed. Cynthia is pleasant and pretty, and I wouldn't shorten it to Cindy or anything else (Cyn?), but I wouldn't be likely to use it, just because there are so many names that I like better.
