Simone for me. It has more oomph, it sounds diabolical and clever.
Camille sounds too much like "C'mere" ("come here") for my liking, as well.

Camille is prettier, but I like both. They work well as MNs.
Name trends come and go, and Simone is a name form my grandparents'generation. Still 10-20 years to go for it to come back to the mainstream where I live. Camille is a name "from my generation" thus way to common.
This obviously influences my preferences since I dislike overpresent names. I'd gonwith Simone and claim it's vintage (and a nod to Simone Weil)

Camille.
I love both. But I choose Camille.
Camille
Camille, for sure. I like Simone but just prefer Simeon for a boys name. Camille, I definitely like more than other forms of the name though.
I like Camille but I LOVE Simone. I think it's gorgeous.
Both are very pretty. However, I have a good friend Simone, I lean toward Simone.
Camille. Especially on a boy.
Simone. I find the syllables to be more pleasant.
