THE ACTIVIST Miss Prudence Margaux Yeats Wordsmith
When Miss Prudence Yeats asked the men in the smoking room, who were expressing their opposition to women's suffrage, what they were afraid of (as suggested by Ohad Yigal), she stunned them all into silence. All but one: Mr _______ .
The Nightingale's Nest has hosted debutants, dilettantes, radicals, republicans, even artists - but that fateful day in October, 1910, was the very first time an American had stepped foot on its Gothic grounds.
Exuberant, vainglorious, but possessed with a disarming charm, Mr _______ continued engaging in debate with Miss Yeats. Nothing he said was of any substance, and if the other men in the room were asked to recall even one argument he made, they would have been at a loss. Nonetheless, they agreed with him heartily and considered Miss Yeats thoroughly defeated.
Nobody at the gathering can remember quite how Mr _______ secured an invitation. The ladies fanned themselves, despite the October chill, to call them _______ - a short form of his Christian name. During the hunt, he regaled both the ladies and the gentlemen present with tales of his upbringing in America, as the son of a railway magnate. He was an incredible shot.
Mr _______ lives fast, spends freely and speaks loudly. Despite his brash manner, he has ingratiated himself to almost all the guests (Miss Yeats, understandably, isn't particularly fond of him). But what lies beneath his confident, easygoing exterior?
Mr _______ "_______" _______ _______ IV
First name: an Old Testament name that is at least three syllables long, and lends itself to the monosyllabic nickname he goes by.
Middle name: comes from this list AND is derived from a surname (https://nameberry.com/list/218/yupster-baby-names-for-boys/all).
Surname: that of a famous figure associated with the Confederate States of America.
BONUS (optional, just for fun - I may or may not take inspiration): Are there any clues in Mr _______ 's past or family history that could shed light on his true intentions and motivations for attending the event?

Mr. Solomon "Sonny" Theophilus Lee, IV
Back during colonial times in America, one of Sonny Lee's ancestors was involved in a pre-Revolutionary movement in South Carolina. Lee's ancestor was captured and hanged by the British Colonial Governor, and his property was confiscated. The Lee family has never forgotten this grave insult to their honor, not to mention their wealth. They swore to take vengeance.
In 1910, the Colonial Governor is long deceased. But Sonny Lee has learned that one of the Colonial Governor's descendants would be present at the Hastings' party, and he arranged to be there himself.
