His Grace Frederick Shophios Grenville Duke of Somerset
The Duke of Somerset has rarely been interested in women, however before he was betrothed to Agnes he had an affair with a German Swabian woman.
It was one of the only times he had ever felt something for a woman but the Swabian was uninterested in something serious, or perhaps was she just trying to get something from the Duke? after the Duke's family found out about the outrageous affair with the Swabian mistress they quickly made sure to remove her from his life and married him to a good English woman from a well-respected family, Agnes.
The male gardener caught the eye of the duke. The duke was waiting for the lad in the garden. The Gardener was a beautiful Sicilian man whose curls resembled David's statue. He was a talented young man with whom the duke had a conversation before and was surprisingly very knowledgeable.
Lady Kanthe saw him standing alone and thought he was waiting for her. Lady Xanthe was very playful and a bit drunk when saw the duke standing alone he tried to distance but she insisted he would stay. The duke believed that refusing her company would have bad outcomes, so he chose to stay despite the discomfort.
