Carmen - an absolute gem.
Gina - cute! I like it.
Lazuli - I love it! It's unique, but in a good way. I'd love if I met someone named with this.
Martina - it doesn't do much for me, but it's a lovely name.
Moira - I love this name! It's got unique flair but isn't too out there.
Reese - not my thing at all.
Jabez - I think this name is SUPER cool! Jay is a fine nickname!
Jameson - one of the few surnames for first names I actually like. I dislike James, but this softens it.
Carmen - an opera
Gina - a gum snapoing waitress in Grazello's pizza
Lazuli - a blue rock
Martina - a very old tennis player
Moira - a great name
Reese - peanut butter
Jabez specifically with the nickname Jay - A cool name with a lame nn
Jameson - James when he's trying too hard
Lazuli is a guilty pleasure of mine, I always thought this would make a cool female name.I also like Jabez.
Carmen- has no personality or NNs.
Gina - predictable; Regina is better.
Martina- classy and pretty, one of the better feminine forms.
Moira- looks and sounds weird. Myra, Mira, Mara and Mora are all better.
Reese - a good unisex name and nickname for Theresa, Maurice, Clarice, etc. Good alternative to Rhys if you don't want people to assume you're Welsh, or you're worried about it being misspelled or mispronounced. (I'm aware that the name is English and Welsh, but my English eyes want to read it as 'rice'.)
Jabez - This isn't so much better than Jaiden. In fact, it sounds equally made up because all Biblical names were made up, and some were only used for one character and then it was forgotten. I like the NN Jay, but any J name could come with that nickname: Jason, Jacob, Jameson, Jaylin, etc.
Jameson - has more personality than James, less boring.
I actually love Jaiden ;)
Me too. Jabez is the only J name I'm not crazy about.
Carmen - OK; pleasantly operatic; if car + men bugs you, try Michaela
Gina - fine as a nn for Georgina; otherwise, try Jean
Lazuli - dreadful. Pretty stone, but not human
Martina - nothing wrong with it; Tina is an all-right nn
Moira - dated where I live, but retains its attractive Celtic vibe
Reese - Rhys for guys, yesyesyes; Reese for anyone, nononoJabez specifically with the nickname Jay - Jay is a whole lot better than Jabez!
Jameson - drop the -on. James is a classic and always usable
Carmen is a pretty name!
Gina is my favorite on this list.
I dislike the name Lazuli.
Martina sounds nice, but something is off-putting for some reason.
Moira is a gorgeous name.
Reese is beautiful on a girl!Jabez "Jay" this is nice, especially if meanings don't matter to you.
I dislike the name Jameson, because I don't care much for "-son" endings (well, except for Alison on a girl).
Carmen is ok
Gina is ok
I like Rhys for a boy
Jamison is ok
