If you were to write a sci-fi novel, which names would you use for your characters? You can be as creative as you want.

Avitus, Caspian, Ganymede, Idris, Cassiopeia (I prefer Cassiopée, though), Liraz, Viatrix and Xenia really fit in this setting. :)

It would depend on the kind of world you are creating. If it is about earthlings in space, then I would use recognizable names.
