[Opinions] Re: New twins

I really dislike what I perceive to be nicknames as given names. I particulary dislike these two because I think Elizabeth Katherine could be a classic name with the sweet nn of Ellie Kate, but perhaps I'm biased!
Embry Jack is alright, but I don't like Embry all that much. Hayes is just yucky to my ears. Evan is nice, but I wouldn't use Jack and Evan in the same family since they are both derivatives of Jack.
A related but perhaps unnecessary rant: Kate is just really abrupt sounding to my ears as a given name. Even as a nn for Katherine/Kathryn etc, I prefer Katie. Perhaps its because it's one syllable and ends with a hard 't' sound. I don't like Pete all that well either, but do like Peter and Petey! Not sure why!
