[Opinions] Re: What do you think of the era when your name was peak?
Depending on the country, my name (Christine) peaked somewhere between the early 1950s and mid 1960s. My parents were born in the mid-1950s so it’s very much more a name of their generation; by the time I was born in 1980 it was still common but short versions like Kristy and Christie were more popular. The 50s and 60s were an interesting time - big swings back and forth in terms of social mores. Very much still under the shadow of WWII, mass migration (including my mum’s family in 1965), lots of upheaval and reevaluation.
