When I thought "name to say" the 1st things that came up were common unisex NNs - Chris, Alex, Sam, Max.
"girl name to say" - Hannah, Laura
"boy name to say" - Matthew, Patrick
I could shout boy names a little quicker maybe, since it's not as much like I'm being flooded with info when I call them to mind.
Trying it again...
"girl name" - Regina, Marigold
"boy name" - Pius, Galen
"first girl name that comes to mind?" Daria
"first boy name that comes to mind?" Darius
"first unisex name that comes to mind?" Dara
When I think "to say" I'm pretty sure I'm pulling names from memories of grade school. With the phrases you mentioned, it was harder to think of anything, and then once I did, I felt stuck. When I think just basic "girl/boy name" my thoughts are more scattered and also not related to memories so much.
