After watching the show Emily of Newmoon as a kid, where Ilse is the best friend, I really liked this name for a very long time until I actually said it out loud and realized how prominent the ‘ill’ sound is. I still like it however and prefer it to Elsa.

Don't like, prefer Elsa or Ailsa

I feel like it's a bit hard to pronounce. I prefer Elsa.

I think it’s beautiful and soothing, like the ocean. And like a softer Elsa.
