Maxine McKenziewdyt?

Replies

I think Maxine is really cute, but with McKenzie as a middle name it sounds like a first and last name to me rather than a given name. Also not too big on alliteration.
I like Maxine, but paired with McKenzie it sounds like a stereotypical Disney Channel bully. Not that I like McKenzie separately and that spelling only makes it worse.
I don't think they sound mismatched per say, but together they sound a bit... overly trendy? The first syllables in both names are a bit repetitive. I do like Mackenzie and Maxine separately.
Maxine is charming and full of character; McKenzie is a dull, tacky dud.
I like Maxine, but pairing it with McKenzie is weird. It's almost rhymey.
I don't think this combination flows nicely at all; both of the names run together. However, I do like the name Maxine for girl.
I don't like either name, especially not Maxine. As a fn/ln combo it does sound good, kind of like a jazz singer's name. But as a fn/mn combo, it's badly mismatched. Like a frumpy, bad-fitting fifties housedress paired with trendy Jimmy Choo stiletto heels.
Maxine sounds fresh these days, I approve.McKenzie in any of its forms is a pet hate of mine.
I love Maxine. I've had two wonderful residents with the name, they fit the sassy vibe Maxinr gives off.
Maxine is so cute!
I love Maxine! It works well with McKenzie in terms of sound, but that spelling makes it look even more surnamey than usual. Maybe it is a family surname in this case!
Maxine is just OK; I prefer Max for a boy. Is McKenzie the ln or a mn? Either way, the repetition of the mac- sound is jarring, but if McKenzie is the mn it won't matter much. If it's the surname it really is unfortunate.
it is the middle name.
Maxine is okay, but honestly, if I ever have to see another Mackenzie I may run screaming. So far past its sell by date it stinks.
Don't like either name especially together max Mack, more masculine names
