Mildred reminds me of mildew and I can't unhear it. It's also hopelessly dated.
So,
Millicent.
I like
Millicent, anyway. It's very bright and cheerful. I was first introduced to the name when a friend of mine played a character named
Millicent in a play, and it was my favorite long form of
Millie /
Milly for a while. Maybe it still is, I haven't thought about it.
Milly and
Millie are adorable.
LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS
-
Shel Silverstein
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child,
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me—
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.
