[Opinions] Rochelle Élisabeth
My admiration for the name Rochelle has increased a great deal lately; I must say, I find it on the high end of elegance. Your opinions?

I instinctively say it as roh-SHELL for some reason, which may cause problems. I’ve also heard of this one girl saying it as rock-ELLE, which is a bit more inferior in my opinion. Either way - I can’t say I’m a fan. If I wanted to go for rock games for a girl I’d stick with Petra. Rochelle Élisabeth isn’t bad, definitely eye catching, but I’m not crazy about it.
Wait, I thought roh-SHELL was the pronunciation.
I believe it is, but some people also say it as ROCK-elle, as I said.
Your crazy was not the desired effect. Thanks.
I imagine naming a child Rochelle of all the thousands of beautiful girl names out there isn’t desired either, but you’re welcome.
I love Rochelle! I have for a while, but my enthusiasm hasn't really been shared. Glad to see someone else enjoys the name, too.
I'm not sure if I would pair it with an El- middle, though, even with an accent aigu. The "ell-Él" kind of mashes together.
Edit: combo ideas...
Rochelle Amara
Rochelle Caroline
Rochelle Evangeline
Rochelle Felicity
Rochelle Florence
Rochelle Frances
Rochelle Iris
Rochelle Ivy
Rochelle Sonia
Rochelle Sophia

It's fun! I like that is has a kind of brassy New Yorker elegance - I think of Bette Midler belting out "Rochelle, Rochelle!" in a hospital bed in that Seinfeld episode. Rochelle has glam Mob wife vibes (which is apparently very in right now).
I'm not sure I like it with Elisabeth right after, although both names are lovely; the el-el bit just makes me twitch.

It's okay.
Nice names, lovely combo
