[Opinions] Among the currently trending names, which do you like and dislike?
Among the currently trendy names, I tend to like unisex names like Eden and Sage, and nature names like Aspen and Jade. And many of the currently trending girl names are not my cup of tea.(And I like trendy names from the past)

I enjoy the rise of vintage names, but despise most surnames-as-first-names (not all!), common word names, bnogs, and to an extent gender-neutral names.

Just thought of brand names. Dior, Lexus, Forbes, and the like. Seems like a consumerist hellscape name.Nation/country names is another particularly bad trend. You’re one global incident away from having your kid’s name associated with a war, natural disaster, or terrorist event. All the kids named Israel or Zion this year I just know are getting teased even if they support Palestine.
I hate noun names. Name your dog Dream, Chai, or Bentley. Not your kid.I do love older names and some Greek and Roman names seeing a spike in popularity.

Love the resurgence of vintage names that were old when I was a kid. Just met a little Edith.Hate, hate, hate surname as first names, common word names, and as always, bnogs.
Love: Gem names, flower names, names ending with -elle/-ella
Hate: Unisex names, -ley names and all their variations, -lyn/-lynn names, random five-letter A namesI also think word names are trending in the wrong direction. I love a lot of word names, but not a lot of the ones that are currently trending.
Hate creative spelling and word names
Well I love the trajectory of the "vintage classic" names trend. I like a lot of them (Theodore, Henry, Sebastian, Eleanor, Amelia, Josephine etc). I especially love the vintage nature names (like Hazel, Violet, Ivy, Daisy, Ruby, etc). They are so sturdy and adorable. I hate the way word names seem to be heading, with things like Maverick, Legend, Journee, and Genesis being used. I enjoy word names, but not like this. Not like this.
