I prefer Selene or Selena, Constance is to dated. Clarissa and Crystal would be good

As far as I know, Constance is old-fashioned for the character's age, Clarissa it's not common, Crystal was at her peak in the 80s, and Ari seems to be trendier than the other names.

Since Ari was dominant as a boy name at the time, I think it would be better to use it as Ariana's nickname. Constance and Crystal are names that existed when the character was born, but people with these names are usually older than the character (Constance is more common in the character's grandparents' generation, while Crystal is more common in the character's parents' generation. (It was more popular in the 1970s than in the 2000s)), and this also happens in real life.

Constance is too dated for someone from the 2000s, and Ari is too modern. I can see why your friend suggested Crystal, and I like Clarissa as well. Celene is fine.
