I do not pronounce Beatrice and Beatriz the same way; in my tongue, Beatriz is "Bee-uh-trihz" and Beatrice is "Bee-uh-trihs". Furthermore, I prefer the name Beatrice to Beatriz, because I prefer the sound and look. When I think of someone named Beatriz, I think of a beautiful, Hispanic girl (with long, black, curly hair. She has a slender physical appearance and loves to wear royal blue dresses); personality wise, she's rather outgoing, athletic, and she loves to read a good book.
