When I say they could "work", I'm mostly talking about how their sounds compare to other names that are seen as acceptable. I think on principle, names that come from nature should be unisex, but some names sound more neutral to me than others.

I agree with you about a lot of these! I'm surprised more of the trendy -ley names didn't cross the gender barrier. I'm also surprised Tegan isn't unisex, because that one definitely sounds like it should be.
