Grant: hate it, it's abrasive and grouchy (American accent) (ETA: it's a perfectly fine name for a random average middle-aged guy, but it's not very good as a name and I'd never consider using it. When I meet a Grant I don't think "wow I hate that name" but I just don't think about it as a name at all. But if someone told me they were considering naming their baby Grant and wanted my opinion, I'd tell them I think it's bad.)
Silvie: very pretty and cute, prefer as a nickname
Silvia: love it, pretty, elegant, a bit mysterious
